It is against the law for employers to discriminate against individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, political affiliation or belief. In Georgia, the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) is the governing agencies for labor disputes. If you feel as if you have been discriminated against or have other labor-related issues, file all of you complaints with the Georgia Department of Labor or with the United States Department of Labor, which also takes complaints for every state.
Verify that you have a valid complaint. According to the Georgia Department of Labor, you can complain if you've been discriminated against based on your "race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, political affiliation or belief." You can also file a complaint if your employer isn't paying fair wages based on the federal minimum wage amount.

Act in a timely manner. You only have 180 days after the violation to file your complaint.
Go to your local Georgia State Employment or One-Stop Center to get a complaint form. Check the link in the Resource section to find a One-Stop Center in your county.
Fill out the complaint form completely, including all of the information about the complaint. Fill in your contact information for where you would like to receive correspondences about the complaint. Include the company information and details for why you think you were discriminated against. If you have a wage complaint about your current position, include your job title, description of your job duties, current rate, pay period frequency, how you are paid and how many number of hours you are required to work each week, including any required overtime.
