How to Get Wisconsin Criminal Records Free Online

Wisconsin Circuit Court Access provides free access to certain public records of the circuit courts of Wisconsin. The court record summaries are all public records under Wisconsin open records law. Wisconsin allows the public to view Wisconsin public records online at no charge via an online database.

Navigate to http://wcca.wicourts.gov/index.xsl.

Read and consent to the user agreement. Click the "I Agree" button at the bottom of the page.

Fill in the last and first name of the individual to perform a search on. There is no need to fill in the middle name, birth date, business name or case number if not known. Leave county set to state wide if performing a state wide check for Wisconsin criminal records and other Wisconsin public records, or select a specific county to only search that particular one. Click "Search."

View search results. If any information such as Wisconsin criminal records or other Wisconsin state records are available on the individual is given, they will be in rows. Click on the blue hyperlink under "Case Number" on the far left to view a record.
