The Best Buy Reward Zone program enables members to accumulate points redeemable for rewards with every Best Buy purchase. For every $1 you spend at Best Buy you receive one point, which is credited to your Reward Zone account and redeemable for gift certificates and coupons once you reach a certain number of points. If you are a Reward Zone member and want to delete your account you must contact Best Buy through email or phone.
Over the Phone
Call Best Buy at 888-237-8289 to delete your Reward Zone account. Follow the automated prompts on the Best Buy customer service hotline until you reach a live customer service representative.
Inform the customer service representative you want to delete your Reward Zone account. Provide her with your account number, name and contact information. Wait while she deletes your account.
Write down the confirmation number provided at the end of your call. Your account takes six to eight weeks before it is completely removed from the Best Buy system.
Go to your email account and compose a new message to Best Buy. Send your email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Write in your email that you want to delete your account and provide your name and account number.
Send your email and wait six to eight weeks to check your account to see if it has been deleted.
